At the invitation of H.E. Mr. Martin Sajdik, President of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, Bruce Lehman spoke at  the  The High-level Segment of ECOSOC held from 6-10 July 2015, at United Nations headquarters in New York.

Following a  Keynote address by H.E. Ms. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Liberia, a roundtable was moderated by Ms. Michèle Montas, Independent broadcast journalist, former Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and former Director-General of Radio Haiti-Inter.

Bruce Lehman, Chairman and President of the IIPI and Member of the SG’s High-level Panel on Technology Bank for the LDCs spoke about the Technology Bank and the role of intellectual property rights in the context of the ECOSOC topic on “Managing the transition from the Millennium Development Goals to the sustainable development goals: what it will take.”
