The International Intellectual Property Institute (IIPI) will host a reception on its ongoing Innovation Opportunities project, conducted in cooperation with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL). The Innovation Opportunities project aims to assist Philippine universities in improving their technology transfer offices. The reception will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Headquarters building in Geneva, Switzerland. The reception will be open to participants of the upcoming Session of the WIPO Standing Committee on the Law of Patents (SCP). Jorge Amigo, the Institute’s Vice Chairman, will discuss the project’s progress. The event will include light appetizers and beverages.
